Location Door
It is the gate in the southeastern part of Bursa Fortress. Its name is mentioned as "Bâb-ı Zemin" in historical documents from the Ottoman period. After entering the corridor between the two walls from the Tahtakale Gate, it is the first inner city wall gate, located approximately 100 meters ahead and entering the city from the corridor between the two walls. The walls from Yerkapı, which is 440 meters away from the Conquest Gate, to Zindan Kapı were built as double walls to strengthen the defense. It is seen that a lot of spolia materials were used on the inner city walls, which include an outer tower and an inner tower.

The gate was rebuilt according to its original form by Osmangazi Municipality in 2007.
