The mansion, which contains examples of traditional Turkish house architectural texture and is estimated to have been built in the 19th century, gained the identity of a library with the restoration carried out by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality in 2010.
Şehbenderler Mansion Library, one of the important values of Bursa; It is a research library; It hosts nearly 15,000 books with its collection of art, art history, language and literature, theology, theology, philosophy and history, and is organized in a way that can be a source of many academic researches. There are also rare works, an Ottoman collection, dictionaries and valuable encyclopedias.
