Iznik Eşrefzâde (Eşref-i Rumi) Tomb
It is thought that the sarcophagi located to the west of Eşrefzade Mosque were located in the tomb that was destroyed by Greek soldiers in 1922, and that the tomb had a portico, wooden pillars, eaves and was covered. Eşref zade Addullah, who went from Iznik to Ankara with the advice of Emirsultan and became a disciple of Hacı Bayram-ı Veli; He marries Rümi Hacı Bayram's daughter named Hayrünnisa and returns to Iznik as the caliph of the Bayramiye Sect. He then goes to the city of Hama in Syria. There he entered the order of power of Sheikh Hüseyin Hamevi, one of the grandchildren of His Excellency Abdül Kadir Geylani. When he returned to Iznik after 40 days of solitary confinement, he founded the Eşrefiye branch of the Kadiri Order. The Eşrefiye Sect is the most widespread sect in the Ottoman geography, especially in the Balkans. It is known that Eşrefoğlu Rumi wrote hundreds of works and trained many disciples in his lodge.
