Emir Sultan Tomb
His Excellency Emir Sultan (1368-1429), who gained the rank of sainthood in Sufism, received the title of "Emir" because he was a descendant of the Prophet and the title of "Sultan" because he conquered hearts. Emir Sultan, who was born in Bukhara, is known as Es-Seyyid Şemsuddin Mehmed bin Aliyyül Buhari. The tomb is located within the social complex built by Hundi Hatun, wife of Emir Sultan and daughter of Yıldırım Bayezid, in the 15th century. The building was built by Sultan III in 1804. It took its current form after Selim rebuilt the mosque and tomb. It was repaired in 1845 by Sultan Abdülmecid in the Turkish Baroque style. It was renovated by Sultan Abdülaziz in 1868.
The top of the octagonal planned building is covered with a dome. The inside of the tomb is decorated with hand-drawn works in the Turkish Baroque style.
In the tomb, there are sarcophagi belonging to His Excellency Emir Sultan, his wife Hundi Hatun, their son Emir Ali and their two daughters.
