Beurek With Corn Poppy

This flavor, which is one of the delicious pastries of the traditional Bursa cuisine, is also called chador pastry.

The pastry dough, which is prepared with flour, salt and water, is firstly opened on the sheet in a dough form by hand-tugging with a couple of guys. Then Poppy seeds and curd cheese grown on the foothills of Uludağ are laid in the dough. It is wrapped and started to be placed toroidally on the middle of the baking tray. Finally, Bursa’s local olive oil is poured over the pastry and cooked in the stone ovens. It is made ready for service, after baked. You can find this flavour in famous patisseries and bakeries of Bursa.
