Bursa City Museum
There is a lot of information about the cultural past of the city on the first floor of the Bursa City Museum, where you will find the history of Bursa, which has the identity of a pioneer city in the process of formation and development of traditional Anatolian and Ottoman culture for approximately 8 thousand years. In the basement of the museum, you can visit the historical tradesmen's street, which includes examples from the commercial life of the city, and learn about silk production. The ground floor presents the history of Bursa chronologically until today. In the "Bursa, the City of Civilizations" section, you can follow the first footsteps in Bursa, witness the historical events that Bursa, the first capital of the Ottoman Empire, experienced until the end of the Ottoman Era, and watch how Bursa of the Republican period designed its bright future.
