Yenişehir Bali Bey Mosque
Since there is no construction inscription on it, its exact founder cannot be determined. According to some, the founder of the mosque is Bali Bey, the son of Hamza Bey (Pasha), the sanjak lord of Niğbolu, who was martyred by Vlad Tepeş (Vlad the Impaler), known as Dracul in Wallachia in 1461, one of the commanders of the reign of Mehmed the Conqueror. According to some, the person who had the mosque built must have been Silistra Beylerbeyi Malkoçoğlu Bali Bey, who died in 1503.
Bali Bey Mosque, similar to the 14th and 15th centuries. They are in the form of mosques with tabhane rooms on both sides, which were common in the centuries. In the major repair that started in 1969, the wooden roof was removed and the mosque was transformed into a shape closer to its old form. The minaret on the right side of the mosque is made of cut stone. There is no decoration of artistic value inside, and the wooden pulpit does not have any notable features. In the graveyard of the mosque, there is a 16th century. There are two graves dating back to the beginning of the century. One of them belongs to Bali Bey's son and the date 1504 is written on it. On the other, the date 1549 was determined.
