Yatik can be called the modern-day canteen used to carry water in the fields and forests in the mountain region of Bursa. Pine wood is generally used in the construction of the bed and beech wood is used in the pitcher part of the bed. On each bed, 20 - 25 pieces of wood, depending on its size, are shaped using scrapers, compasses, jaws, donkeys and saws and compressed between the two circles so that no water leaks. The final process of the bed is its one-piece body, which is attached and varnished and ready for use.
