International Gemlik Olive Festival
The festival, held in the Gemlik district of Bursa, is held every year in the last week of August with events promoting Bursa Gemlik olives, the world's best quality table olives. At the stands set up within the scope of the festival, the best table olives collected by the local people and local delicacies and products made from the region's olive oils are introduced and offered to the participants. In addition, national and international local folk dance teams and musicians also perform.
