Tatars Mosque
It is a mosque located in Tatars, one of the oldest settlements of Bursa. Tatars Mosque does not have a dome and has a hipped brick roof. According to the information given by Mehmet Koca from a Greek source, the Tatars gave this name to the neighborhood and the mosque. It is known that the Tatars, who escaped from Timur's oppression, settled in this region and continued their lives by trading. From this document, it is understood that the mosque, which gave its name to the neighborhood, was built by a person named Tatar Mehmet. According to the foundation records, it is seen that the neighborhood masjid belongs to the Ali Hoca foundation.
