Crying Plane Tree
Weeping Plane Tree in Gölyazı District, whose age was registered as 725 in 1998, is one of the oldest monumental trees in Bursa. There is a large hole in the trunk of the tree, which is popularly called the Weeping Plane Tree, because it is rumored that the sad love story of the Greek girl Eleni and Mehmet, who lived in Gölyazı, during the exchange period, ended with the lovers dying under this tree.
