Description
Armenian Church
The exact date of construction of the church and the person who built it are not known. However, it is believed that it was built in the 19th century for the Armenian population living in this district before the declaration of the Republic. After the population exchange that took place with the proclamation of the Republic, the building, which was not used for its original function when the Armenian population left the country, became private property and was later used as a weaving factory.
The building, which lies on the east-west axis, has a basilical plan. It bears the architectural features of the 19th century.
