Mudanya Dereköy Church
The name Dereköy comes from its old name Potamia, which means stream in Greek. The Greek Orthodox Church, built in 1857, was used until the Greeks went to Greece in 1922. It was converted into a mosque by the Muslim Turks who came to the region in 1924 and was used until 1972.
