Orhangazi Ilıpınar Mound Excavation Area
As a result of the excavation in the Ilıpınar Mound, located approximately 2 km south of Orhangazi District, ten layers were identified from the top of the hill to the main soil. The lowest layer detected is the Late Neolithic Age layer, which includes the Hacılar and Fikirtepe cultures. It is dated to the end of the 6th millennium BC.
