Description
Çukur Masjid
Çukur Mescit was built by a person named Ahmet Bey in the second half of the 15th century. The place, which was repaired at different times and used as a weaving factory for a while, has moved away from its originality. The place of worship has a rectangular plan, almost square. The place of worship, which is covered with a roof, is illuminated with six windows. However, one of these windows was closed due to a structure adjacent to the building. No decoration from the inside of the mosque has survived to the present day. The wooden columns and column capitals in the narthex are original.
