Description
Hoca Muslihiddin (İbrahimpaşa-Court) Mosque
There is no exact information about the person who built the mosque, which was built in the 15th century. However, it is stated in various sources that the mosque was built by Grand Vizier İbrahim Pasha or Hoca Muslihiddin, son of Çandarlı Hayrettin Pasha. For this reason, the mosque is also known by the names of these two people. It is also seen that the mosque is called "Court" in the foundation records.
The mosque has a rectangular plan scheme, including the main place of worship and the last congregation area.
Ibrahim Pasha Mosque, which served as a neighborhood masjid when it was first built, was converted into a mosque by adding a pulpit with the permission of the sultan in 1615. Its door and wooden pulpit are 19th century.
It was repaired in 1996 and 2004.
