Description
Hatice İsfendiyar Mosque
It is known that the mosque was built by Hatice Hanım Sultan and her husband Mahmud Çelebi, the daughters of Çelebi Mehmed's daughter Selçuk Hatun and İsfendiyaroğlu İbrahim Bey. However, from a statement in the registry record, it is understood that the mosque was built by Hundi Hatun, Emir Sultan's wife and Yıldırım Bayezid's daughter. The At Pazarı, which was first established in Bursa in the area where the current Orhan Mosque and Social Complex is located, was moved to the neighborhood where this mosque was built and this area was called At Pazarı. That's why the building is also known as "At Pazarı Mosque".
The mosque has a rectangular plan scheme, including the main place of worship and the last congregation area.
The building was repaired in 1977.
