Description
Shibla Mosque
It was built in 1457 by Mevlana Bayezid Çelebi, the son of Şiblizade Mahmut Çelebi from the Şıblizade family of Bursa.
The interior of the mosque measures 9.85 x 8.25 meters. The building has a wooden hipped roof and is covered with tiles. Inside, there is a mihrab with columns and five rows of muqarnas. The minaret on the east wall was moved to the north and raised.
It was repaired in 1620 and 1901. In 1987, the mosque and minaret were rebuilt by H. Durmuş, son of H. Mustafa, a notable of Şible.
