Description
Reyhan Acemler Mosque
Sultan II. It was built in the 15th century by Reyhan Pasha, one of the eunuchs of Murad IV (1404-1451). The mosque is also called "Persian Mosque" because of the Persian people who came and settled here later.
The mosque has a rectangular plan scheme, including the main place of worship and the last congregation area.
There is a grave next to the minaret, but it is not clear who it belongs to. Although it is stated in some sources that this tomb belongs to Reyhan Pasha, who had the mosque built, Reyhan Pasha's tomb is located in Yenişehir.
