Mudanya Armistice House Museum

Mudanya Armistice, which was indicative of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Government's first success obtained in the political arena was signed in this house. Located in the center of Mudanya District, the house is dated to the end of the 19th century. The house, belonging to Alexander Ganyanof of Russian origin, was bought and repaired by Hayri İpar, a businessman from Mudanya, and opened as a museum in 1937 under the Municipality of Mudanya. In 1959, it was transferred to the General Directorate of Antiquities and Museums. Apart from the basement and attic, the two-storey wooden house has the hall where the Armistice was signed and Ismet Pasha's study on the first floor, and the bedrooms of Ismet Pasha and his aides on the upper floor. In this house where belongings of the armistice period are preserved, photographs and documents belonging to that period are also exhibited.

The basement of the museum is the exhibition hall where temporary exhibitions are held.

The museum is open to visitors between 10:00 and 17:00 every day except Monday.
